Her goals as a dentist include building relationships with patients and the community, providing the highest level of dental care, and ensuring each office visit is a positive experience. She loves the balance of science and artistry as a dentist as well as building and maintaining relationships with her patients. Doctors Chris and Emily Piper decided to settle in Bellingham because they love the community here. They find a perfect balance for their lifestyle between the outdoor recreation, college town vibe and describe fellow Bellinghamsters as “the best people in the world.” Outside of the office, Dr. Emily Piper enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, and playing with their children and dog, Scout. She loves to garden, raise chickens with her son, and make yummy food with her daughter.

    Dr. Gillian Lim grew up in Bellevue, Washington. She attended the University of Washington, where she received her Doctorate in Dentistry. The combination of urban and rural aspects of Bellingham is very appealing to her and she likes the proximity of the city to Vancouver, B.C., where much of her family lives. She finds that dentistry is a great way to positively impact the community while being able to simultaneously maintain close relationships with each patient she sees. Her main goals as a dentist are to create long-term personal relationships with each patient and promote oral care in a comfortable environment. Outside of work, Dr. Gillian enjoys cooking and traveling to experience new places and cultures. She enjoys playing with her dog, Maple, and spending time with her friends, family, and Fiancé.

    Dr. Elizabeth Monacelli grew up in Arizona. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She and her husband decided to move to Bellingham to raise a family after visiting during a vacation and falling in love with the outdoors and welcoming community and environment. Before completing her Doctorate in Dentistry, Dr. Elizabeth was a registered nurse. She has always had a knack for compassionate patient care and enjoys utilizing her hand skills to improve her patient's oral health. She treats each patient she sees as if they were a member of her own family. She loves getting to know each person in her care and strives to ensure that they are comfortable at all times. When she’s not in the office caring for patients and improving smiles, Dr. Elizabeth Monacelli enjoys spending time with her family. They enjoy trying new foods and traveling.
