Kip Wayerski
Born and raised in Bellingham, Kip graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in 1993 with highest academic honors, Summa Cum Laude. While at Gonzaga, Kip received the Judge James Lawless Scholarship Award from the Superior Court Judges’ Association, along with 14 American Jurisprudence Awards for academic excellence. Upon graduation he was presented with the Dean’s Award as top student in his 180 student class. Since 1993 Kip has limited his practice to the technical areas of Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability/SSI cases. Prior to law school Kip graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Washington State University with a degree in nursing. He was an R.N. in the emergency room at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane for five years where he developed an in-depth knowledge of injury and medical treatment. Kip served on the Board of Governors of Washington State Trial Lawyers’ Association (now called The Washington State Association for Justice) and is a past chair of the Association’s Whatcom County Roundtable. He is a co-author of the Association’s Automobile Accident Litigation Deskbook. He is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. Kip enjoys spending time with his wife of over 25 years and three grown boys. He is also an avid Ironman triathlete and ultra-runner, having competed in a dozen Ironman triathlons, multiple 50 mile and 50K trail races, and numerous other events. One of his favorite weekend pastimes is going on long mountain runs with his dog, Lindy
